The launcher just tells me the game is down, they don't have an idea when they can come back?

Its usually 4 hours if they are pushing a patch... Maintenances usually run anywhere 1-6 hours. They will never post a time, since all that does is open up a can of worms for people to complain about should they miss that deadline by even a few minutes.
