It’s a new crown crates season, once again I ask ZOS to check my age

Long story short. This year our congress approved a law that made the selling of loot boxes forbidden to minors of 18 years old. Fair enough.

What ZOS did? They blocked the selling of loot boxes for the entire Brazilian population!!

I am an adult. I earn my money. I want to spend my money on ZOS. I am 100% legal.

ZOS, check my age!! iOS can do that, macOS can do that. I will provide face scan, documents, whatever you need.

It is now the second season of crown crates that has come and yet again I’m left out of the fun.

The FOMO is insane!

ESO has no way of doing age verification. The game's site also doesn't have any age verification options. They CAN'T verify your age, which is most likely the reason they had to implement a blanket ban.

It sucks but unless they want to partner with a 3rd party for handling whatever sensitive documentation you're willing to put out there (which personally is a bad idea, have you seen how many massive leaks have been happening lately, and practically all of the age verification 3rd party vendors are ultra shady at best), there isn't going to be any way for them to verify a person's age. I think about all they could do is require you to input a birthday for the site, but that's hardly age verification and I doubt would be good enough in the eyes of the law.
