Hi everyone. We understand that many of you have noticed recent changes affecting the availability of LibHarvensAddonSettings (LHAS) and that this has impacted the functionality of certain ESO addons. We recognize that this situation is frustrating and may interrupt your experience. Please know that our teams have also been in communication with the relevant parties and are actively working to support continuity wherever possible while we work toward a resolution.

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we continue to address this matter.

As many in the ESO community are aware, certain user-uploaded addons accessible on our platform were recently disabled following our receipt of DMCA takedown notices.

ZeniMax Online Studios (ZOS) takes claims of intellectual property infringement and related DMCA notices seriously, consistent with the ZeniMax Media Inc - Terms of Service. That said, we also take seriously abuse of the DMCA takedown process as well as violations of our Terms of Service and ZeniMax Media Inc - Code of Conduct, including impersonating or harassing other users using false DMCA takedown notices.

We are investigating certain recent DMCA submissions for potential violations of our Terms of Service and the DMCA. As a reminder, knowingly submitting DMCA notices with false claims that content is infringing is against the law and can result in financial penalties, including payment of damages and attorneys’ fees. Pursuant to our investigation, we may cease disabling certain addons where we have a good-faith belief that an addon was disabled solely in response to a DMCA notice that we believe is false. We appreciate your patience as we take a thoughtful approach to resolving these issues.
