Oblivion Remastered - PS5 or PC?

No need to say how much I love this game. I beat my x-Box through the adventure including the addons. I bought it only for the game and yes, it died shortly thereafter. It was not the boxes fault, tho. It was designed to be present on a market, not to persist in it. But now I have been playing ESO quite a while and on PC and am stuck: memories on the sofa (PS5) or convenience in hope for further enhancements (PC)? What do you think and anybody playing either version, what's your impression?

give a man a fish and he will be happy for a day. give him a video game and he will be happy for months, maybe even years

PC has mods, not officially supported but many. But its not very well optimized as I understand so if pc is not very good I would go for PS 5. You could however buy it on steam, and test it out and refund if not working well for you.

I just reinstalled an played my old very moded original :)

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Maybe it's the fact that I had just done a few playthroughs only six months before its release but overall I wasn't impressed with the remaster.

But if you've just got to play it now, then I'd second the PS5. While my PC isn't a beast anymore it's not exactly a slouch either and there is absolutely zero reason I should be seeing sub-twenty FPS while also experiencing a blurry, garbled mess of pixels everywhere.

If you're gonna go the PC way, honestly I'd say it's better to get the original or nab a copy of Skyrim and wait for the Skyblivion mod.

    Greetings!

While we understand wanting to ask the community for their thoughts on which platform one should play a game on, we have decided to close this thread as it is not in regards to The Elder Scrolls Online. Should any members of the community wish to continue this discussion, we encourage doing so on the Bethesda Game Studios Discord server.
