Suprirse maintenance today?

@ZOS_Kevin @ZOS_JessicaFolsom there was no announcement for today's maintenance. No banner (still), no popup on the launcher until this very morning?

Feels somewhat peculiar that you somehow forgot to mention that there would be maintenance on Easter Monday.

Almost as if it was decided that the best way to approach this subject, which crops up every single year, was to just not bring it up at all until there is nothing to approach because is a thing that is happening.

I came to the Forums to check and see if there was going to be maintanence in an hour and a half, and got really hopeful when I didn't see one of those pinned-to-the-top notifications on the forums announcing anything. I did think it was odd that NOTHING was there, since they also do usually tell us when NO maintenance will be taking place, .. but again I was still hopeful at this.

Just as you said, ApoAlaia - I started the game launcher and BOOM, there is the System Message pop-up saying the megaserver will be going down.

I would have not gotten into the game until LATER if I hadn't seen your post on this, thinking that i had PLENTY of time to do what I needed to -- so THANK YOU for posting, and what the heck those in charge of posting these maint. notification banners?

yep came here looking for a post or the usual notification banner, but all that shows for me is about U46 on PTS

It's a really poorly timed maintenance. Easter Monday and last full day of the event. Surely it could have waited until after the event on Wednesday.

The lack of forewarning for what is scheduled maintenance, is also becoming an issue with this game.

Same old, same old, I am starting to get my fill over ZOS's shenanigans. If things don't happen in America they don't exist.
