i started around 8 pm and I'm a bit critical of the plot. It's stale to me. In particular the regent being kidnapped right before the attack on the palace stinks of either treachery on her part or just dumb on the part of the worm cult. why not just let her die in the palace attack? And it has the usual, oh lookie here a note someone dropped so we can go rescue her only so we arent present when the attack occurs and we do generally a lot of gophering as usual. The hardest part in the game is trying to get a lock on the right post to get up the mountain. This guy wormblood or whatever he's called we never heard of and he's got this immense power that makes him more powerful than manimarco ever was and he's not driven by his own selfish ambition to achieve godhood also but instead wastes his power on manimarco?

I mean given that the vestige released him from his torture, you'd think he'd be his own agent.

in general i think much of this all seems very obvious.

maybe tonight i try and figure out how subclassing works as it didnt seem obvious to me last night
