Please give me a reason why we need to run the companion quests over and over for each character?

I've probably posted on this before, I didn't check. I have only a lowly 9 characters but I DREAD and I mean DREAD running the companions initial quests when I want to use one on one of my toons that has not ran the initial quests. I decided I wanted to add one last night and I'd rather be eaten alive by a roving pack of undead skeevers that to do these again. For some of those quests no matter if you just skip all the dialogue and do everything as fast as you can it takes forever.

I can see why most zone quests you have to run over again on new toons, but companion quests I really don't see the point.

I don't mind the short quests so much but some of these are lonnnngggggg.

I agree. In addition, if it makes it easier for PvE players to receive BG medals, then why not simplify the passage of quests related to the discovery of mechanics. For example, add a skip the scribing quest button. And simplify archaeology. And allies. And increase the percentage of drop leads. And crafting. and box with dangeon set for AP.

If the companion has already been recruited once, I think they all should be given an option when talking to them to skip the quest. Like how skip tutorial used to be. That way people who want to do the quest can, and those who just want to grab the companion for their 8th alt can do so.
[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!

I feel like if you do a companion quest on one character and the companion is unlocked in your collections…. They should be summon able on all characters.

If your alts want to do their intro quests again, they can. I don’t see a downside to this.

100% this. I understand that each character has their own rapport with the companions for very good reasons but surely a skip introduction quest wouldn't be so bad? It is annoying doing them on repeat on alts. And I don't have them all unlocked on all my characters because that would be ridiculous.

I don't need to run them on every character. Once is enough.
