Persistent error Error 103 "Failed to obtain server connection information"

For about half an hour now it has been impossible to log into my main account because the game keeps confronting me with a persistent error 103 "Failed to obtain server connection information".
Prior to that, I had been doing writs on a different account without problems.

Eventually managed to get in

I'm also unable to log into ESO due to the same error, I can't earn my event tickets today cause I'm unable to get into the game. I've even repaired my game from the launcher and that didn't fix the issue.
