Game UNPLAYABLE

Tried logging in and the whole game, even the menu, was beyond laggy. Updates drivers, restarted router, tested connection, but this is BAD. Massive lag, can’t move more than 3ft without getting a loading screen, characters are black shadows, and the game doesnt render.
What in the world happened

Unplayable is right. You can forget about doing anything in West Weald right now. Since the event started, I’ve seen frequent disconnects when approaching world bosses and incursions, along with very unstable FPS all over the region (the kind of yo-yoing frame rate drops I usually only see in a huge Cyrodiil fight during prime time on a weekend), plus the usual 999+ ping spikes that have been affecting me since the last patch maintenance. Don’t they usually add more shards during events to prevent this very thing?

I’ve decided I’m done trying to do anything in the game that’s more complicated than crafting. I’ve returned to other online games in the meantime and am not having any issues with frame rate loss or ping spikes in those games, so it’s clearly not a “me” issue.

@ZOS_Kevin is monitoring it. Hoping he elevates this as high as possible because this past week has been literally unplayable for a large amount of the community.

With Thrones and Liberty coming out Tuesday... I really hope ZoS gets to work on this because the already shrinking player base is about to be even smaller.
