What even is this? [Update 44]

Why did you feel it was necessary to add a non-binary character to the game?
Why is Cyrodiil getting no new content when this update is about pvp?
Why after 10 year is there still no class change content?
Why is there only one new grimoire for scribing?
Why is there still no ability to put helmets on companions?
Why isn't there a duel matchmaking system for 1v1?

Another interesting question I have: If these new companions are almost multi-classed which is what I recall from the stream then does this mean we may soon see multi-classing available for players?

Seriously, this is disappointing. I thought we sacrificed the actual DLC cycle for better QoL, new systems and bug fixes.

The balancing problems of the new bg mode look awful. The maps look cool, sure, but I feel this could have been a smaller update then the Q4 update. The Khajiit looks cool but the elf I'm not thrilled about. What people really wanted was Cyrodiil content, an end to ball groups, something new and exciting and better performance/balancing.

I can help with this one:
It's the continuation of ESO's very long history of including LGBTQIA+ characters and content in the game. <3

Sadly, when a game starts running low on ideas, this is what we get.

They’re not the first one either, its not like a nonbinary companion is breaking new boundaries. ESO’s had lgbtq+ representation at least since Morrowind if not even in base game.

Edit: even in base game, thought of one.

Edit…2: first NB character I can think of was in Blackwood. So… anyways… I don’t see why we would have this conversation now. It’s not a new shocking turn, its just a continuation of representation.

    Bandwagon.
However, if you don't like/want it, don't buy it, I won't be. At least that's a positive to putting it in the stores - we're free to choose.

I’m sure they plan on doing some play on Soul Magic to explain how a man is trapped in a woman’s body, and honestly, that doesn’t bother me at all, and it really shouldn’t bother anyone. As long as their questline is done in good taste, I believe we’ll all make it.

What bothers me, is the fact that instead of making an entirely new and interesting kit for that companion, they are combining two existing ones? Dragonknight and Soul Magic? Why not just expand upon Soul Magic and make an entirely new kit around that?

Seems rather lazy, if we’re being honest.
