Hi, I'm a solo player and a new player in ESO and I like the game because it's looks like friendly for solo players from my point of view.
I like to do map exploration, quests etc stuff and I enjoy digging antiques a lot. I was looking at what they are in the new zone and where the leads to them are and was very unpleasantly surprised that one lead is locked behind the last boss in the Halls of Fabrication.
Why in trials? I don't mind farm delves, public dungeons and even normal dungeons where you can easily get through the dungeon finder but trials? You need 12 people, drop lead is based on luck and I as a solo player for example have no idea about trial tactics etc and that's why I play ESO because I thought it wouldn't force me to play raid end game and when I see this I'm disappointed that this kind of thing is locked in trials.
I play my own build and can handle beautiful openword content, even public dungeons I can play solo, some world bosses I can handle solo but I definitely don't have a build for trials.
I would like to ask, is there any statement somewhere why leads are in trial from the developer? Or is the goal more to encourage raid gameplay? This just forces me to either go RMT and buy a run through a given tiral or trade gold for crown and buy a boost from a guild in game for gold. Or I skip the given antique.
Does anyone know if there are more leads locked in trials or is this (Bthzarki Tonal Pipes) the first one?
Honestly I'm disappointed because I want to have digging antiques as the main activity in the game, but if there are a lot of leads locked in trials so...
I'm an older person and just raids are not my cup of coffee and my opinion that things like leads should be accessible to solo players.
