How to cancel the PTS download in the ESO launcher?

Somehow the PTS started downloading in the launcher and I do not wish to download 80 plus gigs at the moment.
I am now prevented from updating the live game as it tells me the launcher is busy and I must download PTS first.

I 'may' have figured out how to stop it by using the instruction in the following post:
https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/124463/launcher-downloading-pts-shouldnt-be
I followed the instructions and then re-launched the launcher and it stopped the PTS from downloading and it actually started to download the live update
