were is all the ink?

So hello.

I just wanted to drop my 2 cents about scribing... I have done the main quest when it came oyut , then after i made the scribing questline.. While doing those quests i got few inks.. And after that only one ink from random dungeon.
Now this whole week all i get is those gold script thingies that are piling up in my guilbank because they dont stack , but havent got no ink at all for all this time.. Have done delves, have done veteran runs, publick dungeons , archives

nothing.. Why ? were are they? Isnt scribing suposed to be cool thing? for now its just a waste of time and realy anoying thing.
Atleast ZOS could think about a seperate container for Grimors and scribing things... or make the gold script stackable?

I got ink from harvesting ressource nodes like ore or wood (not surveys though), also (more rare) from dead mobs, and also from stealing out of urns (for example in Necrom City). With the double ressource drop chance from the green champion points tree, they often drop double. No complaints about the drop rate

I totally agree with the OP. I have also completed the quest, have been playing the expansion from day one, doing dailies, delves, looting containers for blueprints, even going back for the meta achiev for the skin, and still have way too little ink compared to the number of gold script pages that are adding up in my inventory.

As it is now, this system is not fun for me, I have too little expensive ink to experiment, so it is just a chore that I did to get it completed ASAP, and perhaps experiment at a later date.

Besides, there are too few color variants to choose from. Like, why is there only a purple recolor for the wall of elements? Or just a red one for the snipe/poison bow ability? I prefer the way they are, tbh. I understand the system is new, and ability altering scripts will be added with time, but a few more colors to chose from wouldn't have hurt any balancing.

Compared to antiquities, scribing is much worse. With antiquities, there was a skill progression, a grind, but it opened to a multitude of rewards, from furnishings to mythic items, and the starting quest was much more shorter, you could excavate antiquities in minutes of entering Solitude. I spent days to finish the quest chain, and still have to wonder why I bothered so early.
