"ESO is not responding" after pressing play

After pressing play the screen goes blank and windows tells me "ESO is not responding"

    Hi @sPark101, can you place in a support ticket with this issue? When you do, please provide us with the ticket number. We can get customer service to take a look.

    Can you also provide more context regarding where you are pressing play? If you can include a screenshot of what is happening, that would be helpful. Thank you.

    I decided to reboot my pc and try again, I was able to get thru this time and log in without problems.
