Hi, would it be possible to revise the name of storage chests by adding an adjective in front like "Large" for large chests and "Small" for small chests?

This would be more convenient for research!

You can name them anything you like already
(Math before coffee, except after 3, is not for me)

Is it possible to increase the line length to rename storage chests? 20 characters is not enough.

How are 20 characters not enough?

for example, I want to name a storage chest Crafting Survey Reports:
Alchemy, enchanting, provisioning - 33 characters

Well, that seems like a you thing, mate.

You can reduce the number of words. Example: No need to put the whole "Crafting Survey Reports" as "Surveys" would be enough, since the only Surveys in the game are the crafting ones.

You can also abbreviate alchemy, enchanting and provisioning.

I'd just like to be able to use numerals in renaming them.

Huh. It always refuses to show them for me. How strange....

I work in an company making business software, some people have the 19th century idea of, the title should be an short version of the paper. They often used multiple sentences for the title of books
This match poorly with an list of documents on a web page, more fun it should be mobile friendly.

Provisioning doesn't have a survey, so "Alchemy/Enchanting" would work. No one but you gets to interact with them, so as long as you know what you're storing there, you could call it "Kazoos" and be good.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

Abbreviate - it's enough to do it. Who else needs to know that in chest labelled "Alch" there are alchemcial ingredients?

"CP Raw Ref" - guess what I store in the chest labelled this way?
Yes! Crafting materials that are raw and that are refined. 10 characters - spaces including.

    "ConsStyle" - what's here?
Bingo! Consumables, eg. food, style motifs, counterfeit paragon edicts, etc.

    "SurveyBait" - no surprise here.

"FurnitureEpic" - furniture mats and green-gold mats to improve gear.

Back in the days when I used to play arcades, players were only allowed to use three characters to form their names on the leaderboards. Yet that was enough for me to tell everyone on the leaderboards apart

I am just going to hijack this thread for another idea: Would be cool if there was a way to apply a skin to these boxes (doesn't need a lid animation in my opinion). Maybe like a slot where you can put it another item of any container category. That way they could blend in better.

    Greetings,

We have closed this topic as it was originally created in March 2020. In many cases, it's better to create a new thread on a topic that you want to discuss as opposed to bumping one that is rather old.

    Thank you for your understanding.
