Unable to launch Minion, even after reinstalling...

Hello, I'm very annoyed with the Minion app, I can't launch it anymore, I haven't played for a while.

I had an old version that strangely no longer found the internet, even though the internet works, so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but now it doesn't open at all, even though there was an installation procedure. I'm in a bind because I don't know what else to do...

I'm on W11 and I use the Windows antivirus.

Try installing the 32 instead of the 64.

Uninstall, remove all Minion directories (which for me were in AppData/Local) . Then install Minion 3.0.12 or higher. 64-bit worked fine for me. Anything but the latest and greatest Minion will simply no longer work.

Make sure you have the latest version. Your firewall can also be blocking the app. Either in Windows or your router. Depends on your settings. Lastly ,onedirve can cause issues especially with add-on live location.

I have never been able to get the 64 bit version to work but the 32 bit version does.

Have you got the correct launcher shortcut on your desktop?

Minion does not automatically place a desktop icon. have to drill down into C:/user name/app data and more to get to the Minion program. Find the App and make a shortcut for the desktop

For me, after re-installation, it wasn't working. It got solved by starting Minion while the game was already running (page 3 of the thread). But it seems that this trick worked for me but not for others. There were more replies after that, maybe it will help you.

I gave up and uninstalled it myself, after trying every fix I could find online.

It worked for a few weeks and then nothing but errors.

Manually installing stuff is much less troublesome and that's what I did for years anyone before trying Minion.

Lucky you, but ESOUI team advises to use 32bit version, because 64bit has issues and 32bit is stable. Not sure why it is like that but it is what it is.

The 64bit version also works fine for me on Win10.
