Since it only takes 12-25 hours to level from 3-50 I've never seen the point in a class change token. You can switch gear freely from one toon to the others. I would much rather see them continue to focus on actual QoL and bug fixes.

Zenimax added the ability to virtually instantly level our mounts, gain skill lines, and even sky shards as noted in the OP they have provided the means to we do not have to grind out a toon again. One would still need to level up class skills with the suggestion above so the time to grind to 50 is clearly not an issue.

If someone was truly interested in a different class and did not want to invest much time in it, and of course willing to pay for it, then I do not understand what is holding them back. The past 10 years (really only nine) has proven that is a much faster route than waiting for Zenimax to add a single token to get it done.

and to point out the obvious, Zenimax would miss out on a lot of revenue with the idea proposed above since 3k is super duper cheap compared to even half of what is already available to us to max out a new toon. That potential loss of revenue could be what is holding things back since Zenimax understands its revenue better than any of us.

I think some people only want to use Class Change Token because they do not want to give up on their main character that they put many many hours in. Which is completely understandable for a role playing game.
