Will I Get Banned?

I want to use a combination of sets that are currently being exploited. I like the idea of the build but I don’t want to exploit. Is it fine if I run them and try my best not to exploit or should I just wait until it’s patched?

✭First I've heard of this. What sets are being exploited? If there is a problem with certain gear sets has ZOS made an announcement about it?
I make all kinds of gear set combinations for various builds especially now during the PVP event. What is the problem ZOS?0 -

It was closed because it discussed an exploit.

✭I'm not a PVPer so I wouldn't know this exploit if it occurred to me. I am playing in the PVP event and having a lot of fun. I die at least 10 times more than I get a kill but that's OK. I just laugh at my ineptitude in PVP.
I've been in the game for ten years and for the last oh I don't know...8 or so I've always had the combat text off. I never liked seeing all that on screen. Well, now I've got it on so I can see things like stuns, immovability and so on for PVP.
[Snip]. I've got well over 18000 hours in this game on multiple accounts with quite a bit of money invested as well. It's the only MMO I play.
ZOS should really make an announcement in game for everyone to see and post an announcement in the Forum so we don't fall into this exploit by mistake.
And FIX IT.

That’s kinda what I’m asking because I wanted to make a potion build for a long time and decided to do it now that there’s loads of sets they added to make a build like that possible.0 -

if you are talking about the exploit keeping high wd and immune to cc at all times then yes you will be banned3 -

✭Whatever these gear sets are ZOS should turn them off immediately. Getting banned for using what is in the game is wrong. I have no idea what gear sets are exploitable.5 -

In most cases, exploits that require specific set combos and actions to initiate aren't exploit that some average player is going to run across. So calling out the set combo for it doesn't actually help anyone and likely only makes the exploitative behavior worse as more players have access to the knowledge of how to perform the exploit.1 -

I want to use the one that’s not stacking crazy damage but it sounds like that’s the one that’s the issue I wish I could just say what the set is lol.0 -
