Help, stuck on quest Serpents kiss for AD

So im at the part where you have to search the boat, but when i go in the boat im unable to progress. If i turn my character any direction other than the way im standing when i come in, the whole world turns white and blue and i can see all the NPCs players running around above me, and some outlines of topography, but cant interact with anything nor finish the quest.

Vvephriel✭✭I'm not sure the protocol on bumping old threads, but in case this helps someone who searches for this in the future:
for whatever reason the hidden compartment at the end of the ship's interior doesn't get flagged by a quest marker, but if you go there and interact with the 'carpet' on the floor, you should be able to loot the quest objective item and it will work.0
