Guild listing

I don't know if this is a bug or a feature- As the guild leader is caught up in real life our listing expires without the leader resetting it. Its a simple button click, but even though I am second in charge I can't access the control. The real issue here is why does this happen every 2-3 months? Is there a way the guild leader can opt to stay listed or share listing access?

the only reason i can see why they make it expire is to not have the "guild catalogue" riddled with dead guild listingsplays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

✭✭✭✭✭my definition of a dead guild would be if nobody in the guild has logged in for several months (essentially nobody could accept any applications that come in)
so if the listing expires in 2-3 months, that would likely clear out listings for guilds that had virtually 0 active members for that time period
if as you say that this is something only a guild master can do, its usually a death sentence for a guild if the guild master drops off and stops playing (unless its an active enough guild that they can file a support ticket to transfer guild ownership)plays PC/NA

rotten333✭✭There are over 100 people playing off and on. Maybe more. I thought you meant members that showed absence of over 30 days. I took it on myself, since i have this ability, and booted 25 of the most delinquent to see if that triggered the automatic listing status. Every time it happens the guild leader comes on to bid and fails to notice the listing has disappeared. I notice since I advertise for new members for both of our guilds. Thank you for your thoughts. It would be nice to hear what the actual reasoning is from the devs.0
