The first Troll boss,
Icestalker, has an Uppercut! mechanic where they pick a random player, hit them into the air, then stun them. Then,
Icestalker pounds them until they die. Group members are supposed to free the stunned player by interrupting
Icestalker.
The issue is that the interrupt notification on
Icestalker is usually ~0.5 seconds before the player is dead. For non-tank roles, the interrupt window is incredibly small, and often times non existent!
In this clip, the boss went on me, the Tank, so it takes
Icestalker ~2 second to kill me. If the boss goes on any other role though, they are dead before the interrupt animation even shows up. If you look closely, the stunned player starts taking damage before the interrupt or pounding animation even shows. I take like 15k damage before
Icestalker even makes his first smash! Most players would be dead before anyone has a chance to save them. You can bash interrupt the boss before the interrupt animation shows, but unless a player knows that, they don't have the time to interrupt.
