Masterful Jewelry Writ Not acknowledging completion

Writ Type: Gold Jewelry writ
Accepted about 6-8 months ago, but not able to complete due to lack of upgrade materials and absent from game until 6/11/2023.
Specifics of Writ: "Craft a Platinum Ring with the following Properties:
Quality: Legendary
Trait: Arcane
Set: Heartland Conqueror"
Writ was going to award 800+ vouchers (I underestimated how tough/expensive it would be to get chromium mats)

Ring was initially crafted and upgraded to Epic, but lack of legendary mats prevented final completion. Upon completion of ring with all of the above criteria met (and the ring is neither bound nor locked in my inventory), the writ still records Progress as "0/1". Multiple log ins/outs, placing ring in bank then removing back to inventory not triggering writ progress completion. Would like to be able to complete quest, because I really want the vouchers to purchase some of the Psijic themed furnishing recipes.

    Did you check to make sure the trait and level is correct?

    Yes, as stated above, all items checked out. Since I obviously need proof I did due diligence before submitting a bug report and coming here, I have attached the screenshot.

    Gotcha. Just wanted to help and make sure it wasn't user error, as I've done stuff like that before. The only thing I can think of is, as you said, a bug. I wish you the best of luck getting it fixed. ^^ Hopefully it isn't a text error and the set or trait is the wrong code

    If this issue is due to my usage of a name-change voucher to adjust this character's last name, then could I at least get a refund of my platings?

    You've created a cp150 ring. Should it be 150 or 160? I dont do jewellery writs so I dont know the norm there

    CP 150 is correct. Only for the gear you wear you want CP 160.

    I'd bet good money that you just figured out that the name change is the issue.

    Yes the issue is happenning because the game checks the char's name that crafted the item. If you changed the char's name in the middle of a master writ's crafting process, the game won't acknowledge the item's crafting completion.

    Ugh, lovely. Must have been amateur night when they coded the writ system. Seriously, who codes something to display a static value based on a field that is a monetized variable? Looks like, from that thread, I'm gonna have to wait for my crowns to stockpile to reverse it. Looks like changing back then, if it is the issue, should solve the problem. I'll wait and see if there is anyone official who can confirm before I spend actual money. Thanks, guys.
