PS5 Gamepad support on PC?

Does anyone know how I can get my PS5 gamepad to work? I've gone to the options and turned on gamepad mode and my Xbox controller just works automatically, however, my ps5 controller just doesn't.

there is (or used to be at least) a separate app that you needed to use for playstation controllers. I think its called DS4Windows. not sure if it supports ps5 controllers, but worth checking

Edit - just looked it up, it does dualsense controllers too https://ds4-windows.com/
