Crown Crate Drop Bug

I dropped two dreadhorn motifs with the new crown crate, and I couldn't turn either of them into gems. I used one of the books, the other one is in my inventory, bound, and can't be turned into gems.

    Yep they changed Motifs books and Furnishings cannot be converted to gems.

    Do we know its intentional? As far as ive seen its a bug… but I havent seen any communications from zos on it yet.
