is it allowed if I gave one of my friends my TESO account login information and my TESO account login password so that he or she could gradualy level up my player character while I'm away from my desktop PC and while I'm busy working on various other important things basicly folks???

It's your account, Your paying for your account.. Having someone you know, play on your account doesn't break any rules.. They say to not give out your account information incase of a hijack etc etc.

In the TOS, it says that ZOS reserves the right to disable your account if anyone other than yourself is using it.

I assume like all other things, that it is up to the discretion of whoever is handling it.
I would also assume that you would be able to get your account back on the first incident if you were banned, but unlikely a 2nd time.

Serious how can it be break any rule lets you sit at you computer and you friend come and ask what you are doing and watch you play the game and he ask if can try do that also break the rule.

For then it is break rule to let someone look on while you are playing to for the can see you account name and password so basically the steal from you honest it is real fine line here.

I know it is again rule gave your account info away but should not be agains rule to let someone watch you play for the as easy steal your account info as well???

It is against the rules because they do not want two people to work out an arrangement that they each get to play characters on the same account to avoid a double purchase and sub fee. They want everyone to pay for their own account.

So it is against the rules and I recommend against it, as if found out, you could be banned. Particularly now that you have made it public knowledge to everyone on the internet.

Of course, they don't come to the forums and advertise themselves as doing that though ..... that would just be silly.

Even if you don't tell anyone someone ingame could report you as suspicious and any investigation on your account will reveal your online times, and IPs.

Btw, account sharing is a very popular rule break in mmos, usually the cream of a server are most account sharers. (besides other "strategies").

It's been a a ban worthy offence in almost, if not all MMO's so far. TESO is no different.
It's your account and you're the only one allowed to use it.

I kicked a guy from my guild in WoW when in one raid he stopped responsing in Teamspeak but later came back and told us he let his friend play for a while.
Instant kick from the guild and a forever ignored.

He let a friend raid for him?
Incredible, having no problems having a friend try the game, note, letting a friend try the game after you log in is legal, but in a raid?

OP,

It is a very common theme that doing what you are suggesting is against the TOS and can get you banned. You just did all the hard work for Zenimax.

You are allowed to let anyone you want play on your account. But you'd have to log in for them yourself. You are forbidden to give out your account info.

The reason for this is because it opens the account for abuse. If the guy uses your account to sell gold, or insult people, or lure children to a real life park, or whatever...you are the one they will come looking for.
