I have a friend who like to create crazy builds. So here's my question that I have no answer for.
He is creating an Argonian Templar critical healer. He's a CP level 1663 currently. (1) What is a critical healer, (2) what gear set-up is used, (3) how about a mundus stone & (4) what should the crit chance % be?
Any input is super helpful. Thank you in advance.

    Why not ask your friend?

    1) a healer who has a high critical chance
    2) mother's sorrow + order's wrath. Add in mythic + 1 piece monster set or a 2 piece monster set or two 1 piece monster sets
    3) the one that increases critical chance, thief
    4) with 7 light, major prophecy, thief, those 2 armor sets I mentioned, and a precise resto, I'd imagine 60+ percent

I did ask him. He has no idea why he wants this build or what exactly this build is... He just wants it. So I figured I'd ask here 'cause this type of healer is new news to me.

There is so much overhealing in eso that specifically trying to be a crit healer is kind of self defeating.

Are they trying to cheese the Critical Heal badge in Deathmatch Battlegrounds? (100 points every 7500+ heal)

Templars have no good burst heal. If you want massive healing then you go Warden Polar Wind or Sorcerer Bird heals.

I mean, templars do have honor the dead. But yes it only hits 1 target.

are there any critical healing done buffs in the game?? if not i cant see why this would be a good idea.....
if yes then maybe sorcer would be a better option because their utility ability can also be a great for passive extra healing especially with high crit chance.... but again not sure if there are crit healing buffs other than kajhiit so..

The crit damage CP fighting finesse also buffs crit healing

Apart from sets like Order's Wrath that also increase crit healing,
I would go with a Khajiit for extra crit healing with passives.

Combat Physician set gives a shield on a crit heal.
Hollowfan Thirst gives a buff and extra healing on a crit heal.

    Mundus: Thief, crit chance.

And so the Elder Scrolls foretold. You will be shy, and I will be bold.

I didn't realize Honor The Dead had the same scaling as Matriarch Restore.

    Honor The Dead
    <<1>> = 0.15495 MaxStat + 1.62698 MaxPower (Ultimate, ratio = 10.50, Heal, SingleTarget, Direct, R2 = 1)

    Matriarch Restore
    <<1>> = 0.15495 MaxStat + 1.62698 MaxPower (Ultimate, ratio = 10.50, Heal, SingleTarget, Direct, R2 = 1)

It's too bad it has cone targeting with Player OR Friendly logic. Otherwise you have to use what, Combat Prayer?

    <<1>> = 0.12375 MaxStat + 1.29938 MaxPower (Ultimate, ratio = 10.50, Heal, AOE, Direct, R2 = 1)

Possibly. I'll have to run this by him. I'm sure he didn't even know this was a thing. LoL.
