    The consequences of account wide achievements is very unfortunate for those of us who enjoy making a new character and exploring places that it's never been before.

    It’s a newbie character who hasn’t cleared the delve, yet when the delve was discovered, it shows on the map in whited out icon instead of the black one. It’s quite confusing.

    This was at Malabar Tor, Alikr and Glenumbra.

    It's just some of the after affects of ZoS ignoring 100's of pages and 1,000's of feedbacks of the problems with AwA that makes new characters and/or roleplaying new toons irrelevant.
    I had a brand new character drawn up with backstory and all before AwA, and that one and the other 6 alts I had have set unused and un-played since because of it. I feel your pain.

    It can happen when you design a system not around actual usability, but to shrink a database. I suppose the game tracks exploring by achievements and bcause every character has access to (mostly) every achievements we got this.

    It’s quite annoying actually. This one’s main alt has explored every delves, WB and so on, but the other eight characters haven’t.

    The AWA “feature” seems to be discouraging further gameplay.

    Ok, that's a bug then because it works fine for public dungeons but fails with delves.

    It even shows the delves as explored in the zone guide.

    Public dungeons are tracked by group event, which is not an account-wide achievement. Delves are tracked by account-wide achievements.

    Well, it's great that the public delve tracking in the backend is consistent with the achievement type. What is broken or at least inconsistent is the the zone guide. We've seen that it can track progress per char.
    1. Delves: account wide in zone guide
    2. Pathfinder: account wide in achievements, separate in zone guide (why does it work here and not with delves?)
    3. Crafting Stations: separate in zone guide
    4. World Bosses: account wide in zone guide

    If you can't trust the good old zone guide, who can you trust? :o

    This one now tracks delves by whether the skyshard has been discovered or not.

    How interesting that sky shards are individually tracked per character, and also purchasable in the crown store! Coincidence? Surely not!!
