Still asking for Black hair on High Elves...but now with a twist!

Hey, me again
Still asking for the Black hair for High Elves(THAT'S IN THE GAME ATM ON NPCS), but now some friends have told me that there's no Blue eyes for Wood Elves too.
Really?
Eveli has them, why can't we have them too?
But hey, just asking again.
Btw if nobody believes the hair story, look at Leythen from the Summerset Chapter.

Just played through Summerset and noticed that! My Nord wouldn't mind a black dye job either :)

Same to Nords with their skin tones, there are very tanned Nords yet we're not allowed that either >:(

Huh? I'm looking at screens of Eveli from Blackwood and Orsinium, and my Bosmer main created in 2014 has exactly the same blue eyes as she does. I also made a new Bosmer just a few days ago, and I at first picked that shade of blue again, but then went with green. Unless something got changed in the five days since I made my new character, blue eyes for Bosmer are very much a thing! There are even multiple shades of blue. Not many, like, maybe two? Three? But they're there. The issue might be that the color swatches in the creator aren't accurate to the color you actually get if you select them. Similar to how those deconstruction achievement dyes almost never match their swatches when you apply them to your outfit.

For me: I couldn't give my Imperial bright red hair like I wanted, but now here's freaking Imperial guy Bastian flaunting his ginger head everywhere I go. It's a slap in the face every time I see one running around in all his unhelmeted glory. Just open up all the options to all the races, ZOS!* Hair dye's not a new invention. And you can't tell me that in a fantasy world where people turn into monkeys, and Dunmer into Argonians, that there aren't stylists out there using Alteration magic to give people new hair colors.

(Or heck, giving Argonians hair at all. Wigs exist too and aren't a new invention! I did the Murkmire quest where my Bosmer turned into an Argonian, but my character hit a glitch and kept their hair. It actually looked really good! And it made me ache to immediately slap a long wig on all my Argonian characters. You also can't tell me that there aren't Saxhleel out there looking at all the humans, mer, and Khajiit with flowing manes, getting hair envy, and buying a wig.)

*Yes, I know it's not as simple as "just" opening everything up. But character creation is a vital component of any RPG, so it still seems kinda ridiculous to me that character design options are so limited.

Getting lost in TESO Tamriel and beyond since Beta 2013!
Alliance agnostic: all factions should chill the fetch out and party together.
Mocking the false gender binary since the 1970s.

The black hair on Altmer NPCs really bothers me because my Dovahkiin was an Altmer with black hair. My third character is a dark-haired Altmer inspired by that Dragonborn...but its more like a medium brown hair color.

Oh, and Princess Svana from Greymoor has that same red hair (also not available to Nords, close but it's more auburn) and dark brown almost black eyes. I would love those dark eyes too! I currently use the darkest Nord eyes and they are more of a milk chocolate color.

I think with the Bosmer eyes the colors on the palette don't accurately represent the eye color, that's where the 'no blue eyes for Bosmer' misconception comes from.

On the palette, the blue eyes option are almost white, but appear as a pale blue.

I have a Wood Elf with blue eyes. They can have blue eyes.

I'd love an Altmer with black hair, though. I also wish we could have purple eyes for Dark Elves, but that's just me. Their eye colors are so limited.

There's a very pale purple, it's the one I usually go with for eye colour in Dunmer if I'm not going deep red.
PC NA, CP2500+. Character creation is the true endgame.

I know what you're talking about, but it doesn't look purple to me. It could be a difference in our monitor colors.

Thanks for letting me know of the eyes on Bosmer! Regardless though I'll keep on reposting this particular post over and over until something is done.
My Hero of Kvatch and Dragonborn(Nerevarine too if PS3 had Morrowind) is a black haired High Elf called Mysteria, I wanted her to be in ESO as well but I guess having black hair is too much.
And ZOS will probably say because they're known as "fair-haired"-
So are Nords but they're out here with jet black hair...
    TLDR:
I'm not going to stop posting this, and I don't come to forums often so I'm being serious >:(

I want all races to have a full range of options! *Fistpump*

Hair colours and dyes need more choices. I've been hoping for curly dos for ages. There's plenty that we see in official artwork for loading screens/wallpapers, but they haven't made their way to the game yet.

I loved in Oblivion that you could set hair colour with RGB sliders - one char I had was blue haired. Then in Skyrim, they took that option away... now here, seems like even less of a choice.

To whoever said that black hair on high Elves is lore breaking...
They've had black hair in Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim, and the NPCs in TESO have black hair too.
I'm not here to have an argument about it, I just want my character to have what is hidden in game.

I'd still like Black hair for high elves in 2022, especially with the Draping Locks coming out.
It'll make me return to the game too

    Greetings,

We have closed this topic as it was originally created in June 2021. In many cases, it's better to create a new thread on a topic that you want to discuss as opposed to bumping one that is rather old.
