Rapid strikes animation bugged

I've been noticing that there's some problem with the "rapid strikes" animation. I'm not sure when the problem started but now when I use the "rapid strikes" the animation is basically the same of an heavy attack which is very confusing, it's more like "slow strikes" now. If this problem is not happening to all I'll try to record a video. Please, check it.

Not sure if meme'ing, but they changed the rapid strikes animation, with the goal of making it look as awkward as possible.

I still struggle to understand what they were thinking when they created that abomination, they have always been so good with animations and stuff.

You mean that the hideously slow animation I'm getting is an intentional thing? What the hell!!? Can it be possible? Why would they want to change something that wasn't a problem? I can't even know now when I'm doing an heavy attack or a rapid strike, it all looks the same. If this is intentional it's absolutely incompetent. I'm going to search more about it. :\

If so, yes it is intentional. No, I do not understand why this was somehow deemed good enough for ESO. Yes, it is a massive downgrade compared to their usual work.

Yes, that's exactly that. It's so pathetic and confusing! :( At least they should have left an option to use the old animation. This thing is unbearable. For now I'm just returning to my mag characters or I'll try to remove this thing from my stam characters. This might be the worst animation in the whole game. For a while I even thought that I had some problem on my mouse and I wasn't being able to use the rapid strike. Ridiculous.

I moved from new jabs to this. I'm seriously considering going back to bad jabs because i really struggle to see if i am actually using this skill or missing an attack and waving a dagger in the air

My understanding of their goal of making it less awkward for hammer & axe users, the old animation that thrusts was awkward & made no sense if you are using a hammer or axe weapon type, weapon types that actually are inaccurate to thrust with. My understanding of the new animation for it to be friendly for all one-hand types.

The siblings were separated at a young age due to a Dres slaver raid, Blue, Cobalt, Ros-Ei & their mother were able to escape, Crimson & Bone weren't that lucky. Crimson was later "rescued" by some Orcs that later ambushed the House Dres Dunmers, unfortunately one Dunmer remained & sadly successfully brought the young Bone-Thuxis to the Dres plantation. Later an Imperial, a Tharn, bought Bone at a auction & later told he was free, the young Argonian sadly had no idea where to go & doesn't know if his family was still alive, so the Tharn adopted him into House Tharn. This family of Argonians finally reunited years later.

If so then that's way dumber. If that was the intention they should have done it only for hammer & axe and it would have been a proper update. As it is now it's just pathetic and extremely incompetent. Now it's friendly only for hammer & axe that fewer player use, when they already had the proper animation done for swords & daggers. This is pure incompetence.

That won't work if all the one-hand weapon types are tied to one animation for Rapid strikes, making a separate animation for specifically a hammer or a axe weapon type will likely be a recoding, mesh reboneing nightmare be on the devs. (As a tinker in a few Oblivion mods of editing meshes, ESPs files I kinda understand the stress.)

In that case they could have left as it was. Now it's an absolute trash to all players because you can't notice the difference between heavy or light attacks and this idiotic animation. Basically they destroyed something that wasn't giving any problem to anyone in the rotations perception to something that not only last the basic need but also looks awful. I can't find one single advantage to this absurdly incompetent downgrade.

Not trash to me who can solo the group dungeons that can be soloed with it, & can tell the difference of it between light/heavy attacks. It isn't destroyed. You just making lame excuses of wanting them to revert it back to the obsolete old animation. Deal with it, they not going to listen to you & others nonsense of reverting it back.

That's really great you enjoy it. I'm happy for you. But now you are just being selfish. Unlike you I'd like to have a way to select what animation I want to use -- the other one was already done, they didn't need to remove it.

Anyway... I don't understand your point when you say that they are not going to listen to us. So who the hell did they listen when they decided to destroy this animation? Black Desert players? Shouldn't they be listening to ESO players?

Not really selfish unlike you & others who want the animation revert back to be only accurate for swords & daggers but inaccurate for maces & axes. Y'all being selfish to the hammer & axe users who wanted a new animation for hammers & axes won't stab.

Besides the devs likely did the change of the animation for the hammer & axe users who asked years ago of requesting a change for a animation be suitable for all.

Really??? I'm the one being selfish? I'm suggesting that they should left an option for us to select in game which animation to use. But you keep insisting that this stupid animation that ONLY favors hammer & axe should be forced even for swords & daggers. This new animation IS NOT accurate for swords & daggers. It's basically the same animation used for light and heavy attack. It's a huge mess. Also, it's no longer "rapid strikes" they should at least change the name to "slow strikes dance".

You can swing a sword & a dagger, while swing striking on a opponent on the bladed side or tip you can still effectively slice someone when striking them, so yeah you're wrong.
