Well, now that we can rund Group-Dungeons with our Companions, why can´t I (or rather WE, as I am with a companion) open the door where you need to stand on both pressure plates at the same time?
Would be really nice.

I don't really know about the companions. Guess they won't work for the same reasons pets don't. Try using a charge ability to get behind the lever. Worked last time I solo'ed the dungeon. Not too long ago.

I'm annoyed that this is still 'unsoloable' even with companions - see also the lever in ICP or the pads in AA.

It would have been so nice if the 'Y' command not only told the companion to go in and attack, but also to stand in a specific place and interact with things... I'd love if they wanted to add that in at some point.

I can't believe this isn't a thing, I thought we'd definitely be able to position them where we wanted and tell them to 'wait' or 'hold' (a la Dragon Age). There's even a quest in Blackwood where you have 'followers' and tell them to stand on switches, which shows it is possible and kind of rubs salt in the wound. We two-manned Blackdrake Villa and couldn't get all the secret bosses because the first one requires 4 people standing on separate switches. If only our companions could do that one simple task...

In the room with the two pressure-plates:
Eboric Direfrost: "I've traveled here for naught. The gate to the crypt is locked, probably by the pair of pressure plates here. And me with no companion.
Without the Torch, I can't light the Flame. Regrettable, but I'll return. I've yet to explore the summit."

B-b-but I...I am with one companion...

I wouldn't hold your breath. Not too long ago they chose to fix the lever at the exit door after years. They don't want people to solo there. Unless of course you're a Nightblade (my main is), then you can still teleport through the door after tagging the troll with a bow light attack.

This is a weighty issue. ZoS doesn't seem to understand the gravity of the situation.

That was my favorite dungeon to solo. When I was barely good enough for vet I remember standing in that cold spot in front of Drotha thinking, "am I really gonna try this?" If you struggle to get to her than she is quite a mountain to climb. I don't know what the goal of ruining this dungeon for solo was, but there is no way to capture the immersion with a group that this dungeon had solo. Everything about this place is brilliant...then poof.

Get rid of the plates and the door completely. They are just plain bad.

I just did that Blackwood quest yesterday, and immediately thought 'Why would they allow literally the same requested functionalty here but not for companions?'

The NPC in that quest isn't a combatant so I'm sure there are different technical things at play, but hopefully they eventually enhance Companions to at least work on specific mechanics.

It's not as if there are pressure plates and switches requiring 2 people all throughout the world, only a few specific instances would need to be accounted for.

ZOS doesn't want you having fun by yourself. Besides, why would you choose to immediately break free from Drodda's lifetap alone when you can run the dungeon with PUGs and watch her heal to full health, unable to do anything about it?
