[PS5 EU] Guild MOTD Always at Login

boniboyblue
Seem to have ran into an odd issue where everything I logged in I am greeted with 2 of my 4 guild's Message of the Day. I dismiss them but when I log back in there appear again. As far as I can see in the history page, no changes have been made in the guild's MOTD. On PS5 client.

Same (also PS5 EU), and it doesn’t happen for all characters apparently.

Deleting your Elder Scrolls Online saved data file can resolve some errors on console. Please be aware that deleting the save data will only reset your Options settings, and that no character data or game progress will be affected.

To delete save data on the PlayStation:
    1. From the PlayStation Dynamic Menu, navigate to Settings.
    2. Go to Application Saved Data.
    3. Click on Saved Data in System Storage
    4. Select "Delete"
    5. Select The Elder Scrolls Online.
    6. Place ticks next to ESO Save Data.
    7. Select [Delete] and then select [OK] to confirm your decision.

This happens since a recent patch (I think High Isle), same patch that no longer remembers your newer preferences for crafting stations filters, or new filters for guild stores. Its like it isn't updating your read status for guild messages. I started off with 1 guild message permanently popping up after each log on as it had been updated. Since then 2 more guilds have updated their messages and they are now always getting a notification on log in whether I delete the notification or not.

This seems to have done the trick. Thank you.
