Help please! Fatal Error 1

Every time I try launching the game I encounter Fatal Error 1, Description: Client Fatal Error. What can I do?

Like approximately 5 seconds after I click PLAY on the eso launcher I get a crash warning.

I play ESO through steam if that’s helpful at all. I have not tried deleting the launcher and redownloading it; I really don’t want to have to be stuck downloading the game for 7 hours again.

    -SOLVED- A guild mate was able to assist me in fixing this matter. They helped me find the “Game Repair” option and it looked like there were quite a few things that needed to be downloaded.

    We appreciate the update that running a repair has helped resolve the Fatal Error message. We will now close this thread since the OP issue has been fixed.
