Game won't start after pressing 'Play' from Launcher

Game won't start after pressing 'Play' from Launcher... no matter how long I waited, restarted windows or my wifi router, or trying to launch the eso.exe directly after opening the launcher.
The 'Play' button greys out after pressing it, arrow loads for few secs , then nothing happens.
