Hi
I have had this problem for a while, and found it was more reliable with monitor sync enabled. on my old 60Hz 4k Monitor
I have upgraded to a new system , Intel 12900k, EK AIO Elite 360 D-RGB Cooler, 32g ram, Asus Maximus Z690 Hero , Asus TUF 3090Ti, and the 4k 144hz monitor to boot.
Windows 11, 1100w Coolmaster PSU
everything is new, nothing is overclocked, and I have the same problem which only happens in ESO.
Basically randomly it with power off my PC, and reboot. I have read through some older threads on here and turned off Automatically start in start up and recovery.
I am running CPUID HWmonitor and the game is not over utilising nor is it over heating.

I really hope someone can help because it is stopping me doing content with my buddies, imagine your PC powers off and reboots mid boss fight!!!
I have looked all over the internet, I must stress this only Happens on ESO

    For me ESO is using 100% of my CPU and I had this issue mostly when I had a off-brand power supply. Maybe get a benchmarking software? Other I don't really know how could I help with that!

    I did some further digging, and I didn't mention I have a second monitor installed, which is 720p, usually has discord on it etc.
    I read somewhere this might be causing an issue with my main screen being 4k. so at this time I'm testing the game on single monitor. I don't know why that is a problem recently since ive been playing ESO with 2 monitors for years.

    Thanks for the reply

    double check your temps and your psw voltages. if vsync is more stable its likly one of those 2 or the auto overclocking stuff for yur cpu. its either gonna be overheating or voltages 100% for certain.

    Hi I have checked temps, utilization, i've even turned overclocking off completely and run at stock.
    the single monitor theory is out of the water. it bombed me out twice already.
    the problem seems to be around the game being very CPU heavy.
    At 4k it just can't cope, above 60 fps. I have ran like that for years like i said with no issue, I have upgraded everything because the faster panels are coming out, which is great apart from eso it murders CPU at high frame rate .
    I have just tried 1440p and vertical sync off and its 140+ frames. I'll test this today and see if this works.
    If that is the case ESO is limited to 1440p if you want a high frame rate, but time will tell.

    I would be interested if anyone is playing ESO @4k with high frame rates without any problems .

    thanks for that every crash is there all saying the same thing.

    The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
    {2593F8B9-4EAF-457C-B68A-50F6B8EA6B54}
    and APPID
    {15C20B67-12E7-4BB6-92BB-7AFF07997402}
    to the user DESKTOP-0G4C7NC\magpi SID (S-1-5-21-2343173628-936958210-1729709967-1001) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

    I have no idea what this means to be honest, is it saying I have to give permissions CLSID and APPID to ESO ???

    thank you so much for this , I also know searching the web there are many people with similair problems and this post will help them too :)

    The APPID mentioned is not ESO. It is RuntimeBroker.
    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/runtime-broker-crashing-my-computer/4524fdf1-cef1-4d03-a148-4ae9df05279d

    Are there other entries around that, also mentioned in the article if have posted before?

    I did notice a lot of Kernal ones which refer to cores in stasis. I looked it up and the power savings were set to balanced.
    Which I think when the Cores are not fully utilized the windows power lowers them to 5%
    its now 100% all the time lets see if that stabilises the system.

    Thanks again for your reply's
