Transferring Imperial Mount

Is it possible to give our imperial mount from the character that originally claimed it to an alt? If so, how do we go about doing that?

I think he's wanting to transfer an Imperial Mount that he's fed for some time so that the alt benefits from the extra bag space. I don't know of a way to do that.0
