PC-NA Dungeon finder broken again, April 1/2022

@ZOS_GinaBruno I've baled on a daily Random Normal Dungeon queue after 48 minutes this morning (PC-NA server)... apparently last nights zoning/login issues have left a queuing issue? Experiencing more switch issues, or was a required service not turned back on or re-enabled after fixing last nights issue?

It's still broke? I couldn't get into a random normal 12 hours ago. When I queue as a tank and wait for 30 minutes without getting in...well something is wrong.

It takes close to 30 min as a tank or healer form me to get through queue on NA server, not normal at all. 2nd time in a row double XP event breaks DF queue, so no XP at all. This is really bad.

Fix the dungeon finder, or ZOS is going to have a lot of hate spam in the Twitch chat today. (4pm eastern on the Bethesda channel)
I won’t be surprised if they just straight up disable the chat.

Its not just the dungeon finder, its ANY instance. I can get somewhat reasonable load screens as a solo player ungrouped, but the moment I'm group and try to enter instances, its an infinite load screen that results in "Lobby" error.

Figured I would not try dungeons. Practice dps parse.

Relaid out skills to work on target dummy, then ported to home.

Bad idea, endless screen.

Gonna go mow the lawn now.

Queued as tank for veteran Wayrest 2 just now.

A group was formed and the ready check came up within 5 minutes.
The loading screen was up for at least 3 minutes before I was disconnected from the game (Lobby error).
Was able to log back into the game and got past the character loading screens without delay.
At this point, the 3 other members of the group were all shown as offline to me.
Since I was already in Wayrest, I decided to just walk over to the dungeon entrance and try to enter it directly.
The loading screen was up again for at least 3 minutes before I was disconnected from the game (Lobby error).
Was able to log back into the game and got past the character loading screens without delay.
One of the members had left the group and the remaining two were still offline.
I left the group and once more tried to walk into dungeon directly.
The dungeon loaded for me almost instantaneously.

UPDATE 1:
Right after I'd posted my original comment, I decided to try my luck and re-queue for vet Wayrest 2. This time, the queue popped instantly for me (again as tank). The dungeon loaded instantly and everyone in the group was ported into the instance without any disconnects. I'm starting to suspect that the dungeon timeouts/disconnects are caused by some issue(s) with the account/data of one or more members in the group.

UPDATE 2:
I then queued for a random veteran as tank. Queue popped instantly and everyone was ported into dungeon successfully. I think it's just the luck of the draw at this point: it either works great, or you get kicked out of the game

If you can get a group organized, you can still do dungeons. 1 person walks into the dungeon and once they're loaded in, invite your group members one by one and have them port to you. Once you're all inside, you now have an instance that you can use to do that dungeon and q for any additional dungeons.

Sad, shouldn't have to back door a way into a dungeon because a feature of the game continues to not work correctly over and over and over and well you know over again

Interesting.

I noticed back last weekend, first time logging in, I would get a strange screen of 15 items updated or something. Did not make the connection to my account or char. After Monday night maintaining things worked.

Again this morning got a weird flash on the screen of 7 items updated. That session worked, but next session porting to dungeons did not. For me the strange part is how the server comes up with the qty. It has no rhyme or reason.

Read a comment about being on eu and swappiong to na, then not having issues. I went to eu then back to na and im able to do dungeons. Not sure what the problem is there, hope that helps.
