Where Can I Find PVP Builds?

Since Morrowind, I haven't been able to find current guides for PVP builds. It seems that most content creators now have more expertise in PVE and if anyone does post a PVP build, it seems to be more of a theory than shown in battle.

Can anyone recommend a good forum or YouTube channel to find regularly updated PVP guides from players whose focus is mainly PVP?

Thanks. I didn't want to mention Kodi because of all the REEEEEEEing that happens in the forums surrounding his name. But I definitely planned to check him out once I have a stam toon. ATM, all I have are Magicka toons/races.

I think @King_Thelon is being rather modest when he says; "I like MagSorc."

Check out some of his latest Youtube PvP guides. :)

@Alcast was one of the people I was referring to who seems more PVE oriented. Like, I can find a bunch of DPS tests from him on dummies and videos of him in Trials, but not with his builds in Cyrodiil. Whenever I've asked in-game if Alcast's builds were viable for PVP, the answer was usually a resounding "NO," unless he was borrowing from someone else.

I used to have quite some unique niche builds for pvp on my website, but those seemed to confuse people because there were a lot of mechanics and special playstyle involved. Nowadays I tend to place more "meta" pvp builds on my website which people can relate more to (not all tho). This also has the advantage that people do understand those better as those are used from most of the playerbase. I could not always showcase (on stream) my niche builds back in the days which I think is the main issue why people did not understand (or not like) them.

If you want to see people stream pvp builds I recommend checking out @Blobsky he theorycrafts, explains and min/max his pvp builds on stream and he also plays a crazy amount every day so you can defo catch him on stream

Thanks for that! It definitely helps to see a build in action for PVE players who don't normally run PVP. I feel like the rotation is more self-evident in PVE because the mechanics of the content you're running will be the same each and every time.

Cyrodiil is less restrictive when it goes to builds, what you need more is general understandig of your strong and weak sides, when to fight and when to avoid fighting. TBH any up to date build will be decent, what makes the difference is player knowledge, awareness, reflex, tactics etc.

Duels on the other hand are very restrictive. Fighting against certain class and setup requires from you usage of counter skills and sets. Ofc it requires a lot of skill to, but it requires less awareness (you won't be attacked by friends of your opponent), you won't use LoS and your surroundings, you won't be ganked, you can always prepare to fight, you won't deal with more than one enemy at a time, you and your enemy won't run away, skills that usualy are not so effective in Cyro may be very good in duels (Storm Atro as an example).

BG's are also completly diferent story. Almost each type of BG requires different setup as your score is not bound to kills but to filling objectives (except of Deathmatch ofc).

So in the end we can say things like "general PvP builds" doesn't exist, you have to switch between setups depending on content you want to play :)
