Hello,
So Bastion finds an axe. I equip it on him. But the One Hand line does not appear - look like you have to have a shield.
But is it still used as a weapon - does it do any damage?
(*Side note - Anyone find a way to remap the 'A' key on pc controllers so it does conflict with jumping/havesting and causes companion interaction (so annoying)*)

✭One-hand by itself isn't a weapon skill-line. You'll either dual wield with that, or equip a shield, to unlock respective skill-lines.2 -

Nice! Yep he'll still do damage, but you won't be able to use skills linked to a weapon skill line unless you have the relevant set-up for said skill line. That said, you can load up with class / guild skills and still rock the 1-h. Just less damage than you could be doing!1 -

NPC merchants sell white versions of basic companion gear. They should sell the appropriate equipment type to their job (so a tailor sells light/medium). Look for a weaponsmith or something similar to find weapons.

joerginger✭✭✭✭✭Green and blue stuff should be found cheaply at guild trader. Most likely cheaper than the white stuff the NPCs sell.1
