Error in Companion dialogue

I first noticed this problem when playing with Bastion as my companion. After completing a Dolmen, he sometimes says "It's a rout!". I play with subtitles on and noticed that this dialogue was misspelt as "It's a route!". Since he has an American accent, you'd only notice it in the subtitles, since "route" and "rout" are pronounced in the same way. Mirri, however, has an English accent and I heard her say "It's a route!" (pronounced in British English as "root"), which was also shown in the subtitles, which is plainly wrong.

Not all Americans speak the same way. Where I grew up that difference exists in spoken as well as written English. “Route” has the same diphthong as “root”; “rout” has the one in “ouch.” So both companions’ lines are wrong to my ears.

This was reported several months ago in game as well, to no apparent avail. I doubt they’d re-record the lines, in which case they’d just be better off removing them.

Maybe it's intentional. Bastian is just a stuck-up poser after all.

It's not really noticable with Bastion, but with Mirri it makes no sense at all for her to exclaim "it's a route!"
