Console Voice Chat PS4 - On by Default
This continues to be an issue.
Almost every time I log in, the Area Voice Chat is On. While my microphone is off, I am immediately greeted by everything from people eating into a microphone, yelling at their kids, making fun of other players or even watching [snip] in the background.
This only started with the area chat microphone bug.
Can we please return to Area Chat being OFF by default?

Update: This is now worse with the latest patch. Some 90+% of the time, logging in results in the Area Chat being on.
