For the last years Trials always came with the Addons, like this year.
Arenas are generally a rare appearance so i wouldnt expect one before end next year.5 -

vingarmo✭✭✭Yep, a big let down. I brought all zone dlcs before but this is first one I won’t even consider buying. Personally i’ll do quests and achievements while my eso+ last and dlc itself populated but without any features tied to it I see it as dead on arrival and outside events I don’t see any reasons to return to it in the future. Others had fun arenas and trials with decent sets and Dragonhold had at least chest with expensive alchemy ingredients unique to dlc. Unrewarding easy quests are not good enough reason to spend my money on.3 -

The only DLC trials we have are MoL(Thieves Guild) and AS(Clockwork), both of which are from dead content release models.
For Arenas we have MA(Orsinium) also from before the Year Of model.
Murkmire which has Blackrose(Arena) is weird because it is sort of a one off interim DLC between 2 different release models.
Which leaves Markarth which has VH.

✭✭I have feeling that ZOS lately are bit busy and overhelmed with many tasks (not enough people and resources?). We have some new content every quarter, not once a year or even every two years like in some other MMOs. Every update brings many new base game changes, not only DLC content, they make a lot of engine changes lately, there is still covid which doesn't help and it's hard to keep up with fixing all the new and old bugs and problems.
This not looks like this, that they refused to make new arena and they go whole company to paintball instead
I believe that they deliver as much content as they can. Forcing more content in this situation, for us means only more game breaking bugs and problems. I just hope that Microsoft will throw them more resources over time, because it's a shame to have such a good game and not enough manpower to maintain it without constant problems. CWC had AS, Murkmire had BRP, Dragonhold had nothing, and Markarth had Vateshran. That means the only 2 Q4 dlcs without arenas/trials are this one and Dragonhold.0 -

CWC had AS, Murkmire had BRP, Dragonhold had nothing, and Markarth had Vateshran. That means the only 2 Q4 dlcs without arenas/trials are this one and Dragonhold.
AS is a mini-Trial in the same vain as Cloudrest, not a Arena.
Though a mini-Trial atleast from the outside looks like it is less work.
