Huge FPS drops

I've got fps drops to 14!!! at vCR+3 when videocard is even not fully loaded like 44%-54% and cpu is 40%-45% - only 4 theads loaded out of 12 - I think this is the problem. Is there a way to fix this? Or do some optimizations/tweaks? Any advices?

My setup is Ryzen 5 3600, Geforce 1060 3gb, 48gb ram 3200 Mhz, Windows 10. Settings Textures and SubSampling - high everything else are low.

Hi! I had the same issue... can you check if you have installed a Windows update named KB5005033? If you have it installed on your PC... you can try to uninstall it, restart and retry to play ESO.

I had the same issue and after I search on web I found a lot of thread about this update and loose FPS. So I tried and my fps were back...

    Hello
I am on the same boat with microfreezes
The sad thing is on same day there was ESO maintenance, NVIDIA update and Microsoft update
So who is the culprit now...

Edit: I fixed without needing to uninstall any update, it was my right fan apperantly
Some compressed air fixed all the dust :D
    Stable 55-60 fps again
    Phew

Temperatures are pretty ok, cpu\gpu are under 50c.

As i found ESO only using 2cores+2threads when hyperthreading is enabled and 2 cores when hyperthreading is off. That's why gpu is not fully loaded which leads to low fps. Here is on

    and off

    Any advices?

So I fixed low fps by deleting UserSettings.txt and ShaderCache.cooked in the *\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live. After I reentered cpu usage was higher (but still mainly 4 threads) and got around +30 fps. So if someone has same problem try to delete this files, make backup though :)

Looking forward to test Multithreaded rendering in next patch :)
