New Worlds

ESO is massive and really well fleshed out and I really appreciate that. I don't know where it's headed after Greymoor and don't want to spoiler it by speculating here. I think there's a lot of ways it can go and I have a lot of theories.
I would like to suggest that in addition to the direction it goes in that new worlds are introduced other than Nirn with their respective races and stories and how they link to Nirn and the Princes and the daedric realms and other realms of space outside Nirn. This would add more lore, lots of new content and imaginitive directions could be opened that link to the Elder Scrolls multiverse and could also be included in the standalone single player Elder Scrolls multiverse. I love the creativity and imagination and head bending lore in ESO and would love to see more.

Afaik none of the other planets have any lore associated with them. If TES was to establish lore on the other planets I doubt it would be in ESO though. A game exploring the other planets coooouuuuld potentially happen maybe since the Battle Spire exists, but I'm not too familiar with the lore on it and I'm not sure it exists in ESO's time period (and really, introducing this concept via the Battle Tower would make more sense and be easier imo than just slapping people down on am entirely new planet, since at that point it would probably feel less like a TES game to a lot of people).

Edit to say when I say no lore associated with them I mean in terms of them having their own races and civilizations and stuff like Nirn does, since we know some of them do have lore associated with them in relation to Nirn and the way its races view them.

There shouldn't be any life on other "planets". That was kind of the point of the creaton of Nirn.

That said, yeah let's go to Lyg lol.
Alandrol Sul: He's making another Numidium?!?
Vivec: Worse, buddy. They're buying it.

You don't need other worlds. There are other continents, akavir for example.

We still have a lot of Tamriel left to explore in-game. Look at all those empty places on the map. Then there is supposed to be another continent but I do not know if any TES game has actually explored the other continent. As such, there is not a reason to have the game explore another planet anytime soon.

No TES game has ever taken place or visited another continent.

There's Atmora to the North, which is a frozen wasteland, so unlikely to be the central location of a game unless they climate-change it (again).
Then Yokuda to the West, or rather the remains of it, probably a collection of smaller islands. Could be interesting.
Pyandonea to the South, an island full of mosquitoes, snakes, and Maormer. Not sure about the possibilities for civilised interactions, though.
And then Akavir to the East, with plenty of semi-reliable lore tidbits and weird legends already in TES lore. There would certainly be space there for several major games there, although I fear they can only fall short of all the expectations they built up over the years.

But yes, there's lots of possibilities on Nirn still.

This is a duplicate thread. In the other thread I noted there was a lot of Tamrial left to explore as well as other lands. No reason to consider seeing another planet anytime in the foreseeable future.

Yeah how about we fill out Nirn first. Heck let's start filling out Tamriel itself first. And yes after that we have several other continents and the possibility of actually moving the story forward in time. While I wouldn't object to a dip into Oblivion again on a larger scale like the Coldharbor zone, I'd rather not go "extra terrestrial" until all the rest is explored. Wouldn't feel like the ES universe to me.

Of which one? Like the AH discussion, nerf X/OP whatzit and mount training, this debate crops up every other month or so. There isn't just one duplicate of this thread, there are a dozen at least and that's just in the time I've been playing.

Not sure how you got AH or mount training out of anything said in this thread as all of that is entirely irrelevant to the discussion of this thread. There is also a huge difference between a duplicate thread and multiple threads on the same topic.

As someone who frequents this forum there are is a bug related to some browsers that create two threads instead of just one.

I'd like ZOS to do an Oblivion plane, similar to Shivering Isles.

Shivering Isles was interesting, in all the ways that ESO Coldharbour is not, due to Sheogorath and the overall plot. All local politics. No "defeat Tamriel" mood. Crazy leader not set on world domination.

Sadly, this game seems way to interested in the "defeat Tamriel at all costs" plot lines, doubly so when it comes to the Princes.

There is plenty of potential for us to go everywhere and do everything if you wanted.

Nirn = More continents ones we know of and even new ones they could add, more islands etc, could even go down the different time period as well if they wanted to.

Oblivion = Endless, realms of the Daedric princes, Realms we know of, new ones, literally endless.

Mundus = There are other planets/realms of the eight, also could be more other things out in mundus they could add.

Aetherius = Same as Oblivion, endless....

Mephala's Realm is/was meant to be added and might come some day. :) = https://youtube.com/watch?v=mSzoYsNtMb0

Dou you have any idea where that footage is coming from?
Because it looks suspiciously like something a modder might create with the Cradle of Shadows assets.
But then, you usually can't mod ESO in that way.

    Greetings,

We have closed this topic as it was originally created in July 2020 and the information may no longer be relevant. In many cases, it's better to create a new thread on a topic that you want to discuss as opposed to bumping one that is rather old.

    Thank you for your understanding
