You've got people going on about how it'll take sub-23mins no matter the platform when console is only just scraping by in the 30 minutes because we don't have addons telling us when to press buttons and have to actually learn how our skills work, especially without timers. (Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE to have all this, but fact is it DOES make the game way easier for PC people than it is on console).
People going on about how it's become too easy and the title has no meaning and you can get a group together and do it on the weekend, okay well, get a team together and do it vanilla: no one in the team does it with any addons on PC whatsoever then come back and tell me how "easy" it is.

Addons have nothing to do with the time, it is the load screens on console that hurt time wise. The only addon that would help for sunspire is the one that tells you how much time you have remaining before portal team wipes. False the addon that helps tremendously on time is dressing room... console dont have the luxury for trash gear and boss gear. Pc is getting godslayer with a specific setup on lokk then a completely different setup on yol compared to lokk followed by nahv with a 3rd setup not to mention specific gear just for trash and even some ive ran with put speed gear on in between pulls... loading screens aren't that bad on console after being makin it into the trial sorry but they aren't being held up 7-8 minutes on a load screen...Edited by ZOS_ConnorG on February 21, 2021 4:50PM9 -

I am sure you will lose more than 10%, especially in Sunspire. You cant slot the crit damage perk for flanking and there will be no more Prebuff sets. Sure you can prebuff Channeld Acceleration and maybe some Minor Buffs (e.g. Dark Deal for Prophecy as a Sorc) but thats it.

it is supposed to be a challenging achievement mind you.. I do 115k on my magcro on live atm, but I'm willing to shave a bit off. Plus there are tons of support sets that your lower tier DPS should try putting on to help support the cannons.

On na 2 group did it, and both groups actually contained some of the same people so less then 24 people on ps4 na have completed gs.
I'm pretty sure the completion time was 28-29 mins...

I will agree with this. I think if we get metrics the console groups will get better. Right now you have to watch video playback and try to guess how good your uptimes are. Metrics would call out a lot of people and would shift a lot of groups to new members I think.
As for dressing room as much as I would love it, I don't think it would effect 99% of console players. Realistically I see this as something the top groups will utilize well with on the fly changes to push out a small increase in score but doesn't help anyone else other than the QoL aspect. Most groups will be like oh cool I swapped gear for this boss fight then proceed to have the group wipe at said boss fight lol1 -

Not just gear addons, but notifiers that make you aware for upcoming mechanics like "meteor on YOU, block!" If you're doing vKA or vSS for example. I'm pretty sure 99% of people doing veteran trials on console would take the addons if they were available to them, myself included, but they aren't.

As someone who has also cleared both of them, I agree. Both of those trials are really poor examples of how raid notifier helps. If you want to make an argument for raid notifier I think VAS is the best one to point out. The timers for mechanics are pretty bang on but even at the top level it doesn't make a difference. Watching streams on PC clearly they don't make a difference to midtier groups either.1 -
