Is there an explanation of the Azure Blight that Maarselok is spreading? Does it have anything to do with Namira - the color scheme reminds me of Namira and she is related to Rot is she not?

✭✭✭✭✭nope. namira is never mentioned. maarselok had a power to spread a blight that could infect hosts and dominate their will. he had hoped to create an "Azure world" that he could command according to Selene during Maarselok's HM dialogue.1 -

✭✭✭✭✭Maarselok is a special dragon who corrupts the land around him and causes cancerous growth. He was one of the dragons that wasn't in the halls of Colossus but actually just asleep and woke up when the others were released.
He doesn't have ties to Namira, but he seems to have a little ties to Shagrath (Selene's goddess that we know very little about). Ties as in him knowing about Selene's powers and capabilities that he wants to use for his own gain.This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.2
