PVP is the real disaster of 2021

It seems PVP has never felt so bad as it does now. I remember burst meta, block meta, sload and torug / oblivion meta. But none of this can be compared to the Malacat band meta. Yes, I think that proс sets should be alive both in pvp and pve. The problem is precisely in the mythical ring, which not only breaks the balance but also the gameplay. One gets the feeling that pvp in this game did not have a patch at all when pvp would work well. For quite a long time, people have been complaining about unkillable players that the survival rate in pvp is too much. I literally see Cyrodiil transforming into a place where strong players just kill weak players. This is because strong players try to avoid each other simply because the fight between two such players can go on forever. The same is with ballgroups. Their favorite tactic is to dance around resources. Experienced players usually do not fight ballgroups, but others continue to run into the tower and die from AOE. Likewise, ballgroups try not to meet each other.
Another important problem in pvp today is the kite. The kite only looks like a L2P. But it is not. In fact, learning to kite is very simple. What does it give us? Yes, actually a cheating thing. It is enough to start running around a tree or stone to simply exit the battle, restore resources, update buffs and return to battle. It's like invis, but not invis.
These aforementioned problems are mostly related to Cyrodiil. But it is for this reason that I prefer BG more. However, there are big problems here too. BG directly exposes class balance issues. If you are not a warden, necromancer or sork, BG is meaningless. Warden and necromancer especially. These are two new classes and are very overbuffed. Although the nerfing of buffs has paid off, these guys are still kings, no ... gods of pvp since their release.
Why? Why don't the ZoS want to fix the obvious and egregious pvp problems? I remember before pvp was worried about many players, I remember how players had a dialogue with Wrobel. The pvp population has also dropped significantly. There used to be many more campaigns and significantly more players in queues. I think this is primarily due to the fact that the ZoS will obviously never be able to tidy up productivity in Cyrodiil. Yes, we have BG. But it was Cyrodiil who was supposed to become the basis for pvp in this game. And if it doesn't work, or, as in our case, it works badly, then it makes no sense to fix the balance for pvp. Although in my opinion Cyrodiil is playable today. And the fact that pvp is not popular in this game today is mostly due to the terrible balance.
I really hope that someday, under the auspices of Microsoft, it is possible that we will have a major pvp patch, where, in addition to performance, Zos will come close to balance.

ZoS incompetence got ESO in this dire position not the pandemic get out of here with this dumb excuse already, a lot of the major problems within this game currently started before 2020, every patch in 2020 has made the game worse performance wise and balance wise. Even if ZoS weren't able to address performance issues this year how hard could it of been to address this games woeful balance issues. It's funny how if there's ever a problem related to the crown store it's addressed almost immediately, why can't the rest of the game have the same swift responses. Even before the Pandemic it took ZoS months to make adjustments and it's simply not good enough.

It is when you punch out 2/3 patches of zero fixes. Plus I doubt ZoS have anyone over the age of 80 working on this game. Everyone has to work from home sure, a few delays people can handle but months of zero fixes and silence. That's still terrible regardless and again this isn't an issue confined to ZoS in 2020, this a problem that stems back from very start and it's only gotten more noticeable and worse since.

Probably safe to say that it was a disaster in 2020, dunno if OP made a typo or not.

So, since you know all about their working situation let me ask you a few questions

How many ZOS employees working on the game have been affected by covid? Had family members affected? Lost family members? Had to relocate to care for family members? Lost child care due to covid? Do you know how long the average sick leave taken by ZOS due to COVID or other illness was? Do you even know what their COVID related leave policy is?

*sigh* clown thread time? Yeah this thread will almost certainly be locked now. Do you know!? Do you know!? Do you know!?

Most of the problems in PVP existed even before the epidemic and it is unlikely that ZoS planned to fix them in 2020. But even quarantine, as we can see, did not prevent a rather complex test with a change in the work of abilities in Cyrodiil. I hope that the data collected from this test will help improve performance in the future. But in this thread, I would still like to pay more attention to balance, rather than performance. Although I have singled out productively as the main reason why ZoS turn a blind eye to balance problems.
