vMA 2nd last arena, round 4 boss chains bug boots you out of the arena (on PTS)

tried it 3 times on video, and once when not recording. same result every time. i don't know what is causing it but i really hope this doesn't make it to live.

edit: issue seems to be related to being pulled by her chains ability.

Have you tried dodge-rolling the chain the boss uses? I've seen it on all your 3 video-captures that the boss actualy chained you.

The chain would the only reasonable explanation of the bug - your character gets displaced by chaining which causes some weird position desync and the server fixes the desync by booting you out of the arena.

i'll try it out.

edit: i'm not given any warning when she will pull but it seemed like it was the issue for sure. because i did manage to dodge it the first time.

It looks like her chains ability is putting you at a fixed location outside the map geometry. Probably 0, 0, 0, or something like that. (Especially given you land right next to the corner of some geometry.)

Might also want to remember to report this in game, but it looks like vMA's getting broken again.

From live, she first chains you not long after she spawns. Next chain that I can remember is just after she drops standard.

I can confirm the chain has nothing to do with it. I tried several times and rolldodged the chain but still got ported into air somewhere. vMA cant be completed currently on pts and this will most likely go live Monday.

When i roll dodged it, it seemed to work. Gina told me that this issue was going to be fixed when live drops. So if there are still issues with it, they will likely hotfix it in the near future.
