Bow with pet need help

Magicwillow
Hello all, i want to make a character with Bow has primary weapon and maybe bow for secondary or dual wield or two handed.
Im focusing on PvP and exploring solo bosses and cleaning map and a bit of pve.
For the solo part i want to play with pet. So im struggling choosing between Sorcerer or Warden. Wich one would you suggest?

Clannfear offers a really powerful heal to assist with soloing but the Wardens abilities can do the same to make up that bridge. Wardens main spammable is a long range which makes it better for a pure bow character. For Sorc you'd be losing out on Hurricane damage but other than that their kit can be fully ranged.

Currently overall Stam DPS Sorc is in a better spot than Stam DPS Warden on live, this is purely for PvE content and is not at all a reflection of PvP. You might be able to make your choices based on that.

If you want a "ranger" theme, warden matches that better.

Warden is generally a strong class for soloing bosses.

That said, I don't know a lot about stamina sorcerers.

Really it kind of boils down to a few things:

-What do you want the pet to do? Is there a look you prefer?
-If you like bow/stamina, then you might explore some of the sets that buff bow specifically.
Archer's Mind can be tough to get (Dragonstar arena), but it's interesting
    Hawk's Eye is another option
Kyne's Kiss - I've never played with it, but it looks tailor made for a distance (i.e. bow) approach

Or you could just go kinda generalized Stamina (and then decide if you want a crit build or a damage build).
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

I have both sorc and warden that are bow/bow. I am PvE only and mostly solo.

Both are strong archers. The bear is an integral part of the bow/bow warden and it works well. I've tried bowsorc with clannfear and find it nowhere near as effective as the bowsorc without pet. Too much distraction and magicka required to keep the clannfear alive - a serious net loss compared to bowsorc without pet. Bowsorc without pet is slightly stronger and more survivable overall than Bowwarden though, again, both are excellent. If you want a pet, I'd definitely recommend a bow/bow warden with bear.
PC NA(no Steam), PvE, mostly solo

One thing -- on a bow/bow warden, I tried using both Shalks and Arrow Spray. Not worth it. It played a lot more smoothly when I dropped Arrow Spray, and I still had plenty of AoE damage.

In general, the way I've come to play wardens -- magicka and stamina alike -- is to cast Shalks every third skill, period. The timing of everything else can be worked around that. And I think it's cool to line up the whole Animal Companions skill line on one bar (although the one that passively gives Minor Berserk wouldn't be used in a group with a proper healer who runs Combat Prayer).
