Lead bugged?

Been farming for the ayleid lightwell, opened strongboxes about 100 times in Betnikh, still hasnt dropped. Is it bugged?

Have you tried chests too? That’s where I got two of mine.

The lead also drops from random overland mobs (I've gotten a couple from killing wolves) and from node harvesting.

I got one a little while ago.. I think it was from a mob.

I spent an hour farming for Malacath leads in Betnikh, I was farming at the graveyard and killed a random ghost that popped up when someone was doing a quest. The ghost dropepd the Lead: Ayelid Well which wasn't my goal in the area. Also I got the Lead: Warcaller Drum too at the graveyard.

6 years later …. I’m currently trying to farm my 2nd & third lead for this antiquity and I have been in Betnikh for nearly a week now …. I don’t know if this lead is broken but i have tried everything and it just won’t drop from mobs chests troves everything spent atleast 16 hours game time trying to get a lead ….

Have you tried taking a brand new character into Betnikh and seeing if they can get it to drop? It's account wide so it doesn't matter which one actually gets the lead. (I've seen claims that this seems to work, but it could just be success bias at play).

Finished Betnikh leads relatively recently so not broken just the usual lead rng is miserable. It's possible they broke it with u49, but I've gotten more leads than usual since the patch but lead luck also ebbs and flows.
