Please ban flying pets in towns.

They are out of hand, in our faces, blocking wayshrines, tables, NPCs, etc etc. And it's not just sorc pets that are annoying. You recently gifted a pet dragon to everyone, and now we are forced to put up with even more of them in our faces, causing distraction covering nearly our entire screens flap flap flapping away.

Please, put a ban on sorc pets flying in towns, this is a years long request by many. Also, at least grounding these flying creatures while their owner is not moving around would be great.

    Nope.

Sometimes there are quests in town and Pet Sorc players will be needing their pets to complete said quests.

Also, epic fail on not doing a forums search on this topic ... which would yield an already existing current discussion that you can add to:

You're right, removing sorcs altogether would be wise.

They definitely shouldn’t be a crime that generates a bounty. I would be in favor of making pets invisible to allies in PVE (towns, dungeons and trials), following the same game setting as making ally AoE’s invisible. Piling up Twilights, Maw of the Infernal, Bears, Shades, Necromancer pets, and even Dragonknight Standards (not a pet, but large and intrusive, while also hiding ground AoE telegraphs) can really clutter the view and make it difficult to see important mechanics. Apparently some pets (like Aegis Caller) already work this way, just need to add more to this list.

I think we need more topics on this issue. If ZOS wants to combine all these topics into a 5000 page novel, they are welcome to do so. It's clear by the number of times this gets brought up that it is an issue to many players.

The argument that pet sorcs require pets at all times is ridiculous. If a player can't win a fight in town without their pets, they are missing at least a few fundamental play skills that it is probably best they learn and that's a great time to force it on the player to do so. They have 3 other abilities on their bar (and can swap out those pet slots once they realize they are not usable in that situation). One of those abilities must be able to complete whatever encounter in town is required. For those saying this is the reason we must allow pets in town, give me the example in game where pets are required in order to progress. I'll wait. There are classes with no pets available at all and they get past these sections just fine.

Ok, so I agree, don't make it a bounty, but maybe a guard can remind you? If you refuse after a second time, they can kill your pet?
But really, the dragon pets need to be grounded, their flying is even more annoying to me than the Matriarch because there are so many of them.

Well, at least the Devs could hide all non-combat pets and actual class pets when the player is on the Outfit Station, cuz sometimes i can't see my character.

And I also suport the idea of hiding all combat pets on certain places unless its on combat state... or at least for other players...
    Glory for the Pact!
